Ride for Pie is the brainchild of Scott 'Bones' Williams. His highly reflective stickers add an element of safety for riders. You'll find Ride for Pie stickers on motorcycles and helmets, plus cars, trucks, bicycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, trailers and more.
Ride for Pie stickers are 2" x 2" and cost $5 each. Every dollar raised is donated to Not Bread Alone, a food security program in Amherst, MA.
The Backstory
Several years ago, Bones was assigned to write a feature article about food insecurity. He visited an innovative program called Not Bread Alone, and the experience made a lasting impact. In particular, he liked that meals are shared family style with all who gather there for something good to eat. Participants are invited to help prepare and serve the meals, if they want to. Or they can just pick up something to eat elsewhere.
"I thought about being fortunate enough to ride my motorcycle a long distance just to grab a slice of pie," Bones recalls. "And I'm hardly alone. So I decided to sell my Ride For Pie stickers and hats to help folks who find themselves struggling just to feed their families. Every dollar I raise is donated directly to Not Bread Alone."
